Revised draft CRC Order published on the OPSI website

by PLC Environment
An update on the publication of the revised draft of the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme Order 2010 on the website of the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI), on 22 January 2010. This is the version of the draft Order that was laid before Parliament by the Government on 19 January 2010.
On 20 January 2010, PLC let subscribers know that the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) had laid the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme Order 2010 (the revised draft Order), in draft, before Parliament on 19 January 2010, but that a copy of the Order would not be made available until it had first been published on the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) website. DECC had also published a revised CRC User Guide, which is meant to reflect the revised draft Order.
On 21 January 2010, OPSI published:
The CRC Order is being made under powers conferred in the Climate Change Act 2008 and so the revised draft Order will now be subject to Parliamentary approval under the "affirmative resolution procedure" before it can become law (see paragraph 11 of Schedule 3 to the Climate Change Act 2008).
DECC has indicated on its website that: "We will shortly be publishing an addendum to the Government Response which will reflect some minor policy changes to the CRC Order since the publication in October 2009 of the Government Response to the consultation." As at 5.30pm on 22 January, the addendum had not yet been published on the DECC website. (NOTE: The addendum was published on 25 January 2010, see Legal update, Main changes made by the Government in the revised draft CRC Order.)
We are in the process of updating our CRC materials to reflect the revised draft Order and revised User Guide. We will let subscribers know as soon as this has been done.
To see a list of all the CRC materials we have so far, and those we plan to produce shortly, see Practice note, CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme: list of materials.
