This note provides guidance on when an OJEU notice (also known as a contract notice) advertising a contracting authority's call for competition in relation to a public contract ought to be completed and how to do so. It discusses the requirements and format for OJEU notices under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102).
The UK-EU transition period ended on 31 December 2020. Since this date, contracting authorities have been required to publish their contract notices on the UK's e-notification service, Find a Tender. For further discussion and guidance on the position post-transition, see Practice note, Advertising on the UK e-notification service: Find a Tender. For information on the impact of Brexit on UK public procurement law generally, see Practice note, Brexit: implications for public procurement law.
