Updated copyright licence includes building information modelling (BIM) provisions

PLC Construction has updated its Standard clause, Copyright licence for a construction document, which now includes integrated provisions for use with building information modelling (BIM).

We have reviewed and updated our Standard clause, Copyright licence for a construction document to include optional provisions suitable for a building information modelling (BIM) enabled project.

Changes include:

Additional wording relating to the scope of the licence.
New defined terms.
Amendments to existing defined terms, covering the material over which the licence is granted and the uses to which it can be put.
