Termination: first notice: clause 8.4.1 of the JCT SBC 2011 and JCT DB 2011
A first notice leading to possible termination of a building contractor's employment under a JCT contract, in letter form, referring to clause 8.4.1 of the JCT Standard Building Contract, 2011 Edition (SBC 2011) or JCT Design and Build Contract, 2011 Edition (DB 2011).
DB 2011 was superseded by the JCT Design and Build Contract, 2016 Edition (DB 2016) in September 2016 and SBC 2011 was superseded by the JCT Standard Building Contract, 2016 Edition (SBC 2016) in October 2016. As a result, we no longer maintain this note.
