Part 36: the key reforms coming into force in April 2013

This article focuses on the changes to Part 36 being brought in on 1 April 2013 by the Civil Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2013. The amendments to CPR 36, together with section 55 of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (LASPO) and the Offers to Settle in Civil Proceedings Order 2013, implement Lord Justice Jackson's recommendations for reform to Part 36.
