NEC3 ECC Z clause: third party rights

Practical Law UK Standard Clause 6-500-2642 (Approx. 6 pages)

NEC3 ECC Z clause: third party rights

by John Hughes-D'Aeth, Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP
A standard clause amending the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) by allowing the employer to grant rights to third parties.
Note that, due to this document's use of NEC3 style and language, it is not available in Practical Law Firmstyle.
The NEC4 suite of contracts was published on 22 June 2017, which replaces the NEC3 suite of contracts. As a result we no longer maintain this standard clause. For a standard clause amending the NEC4 ECC by allowing the client to grant rights to third parties, see Standard clause, NEC4 ECC Z clause: third party rights.
