In Edmonds v Lawson and another (t/a Lawson Developments) [2011] EWHC 2867 (TCC) the Technology and Construction Court (TCC) considered disputes arising from an oral joint venture agreement and renovation works to a listed building. Among other things, the court carried out a quantum meruit valuation of works and services provided by the defendants.
