NEC3: disputes under Options W1 and W2

The NEC publishes two dispute procedures, Option W1 (for use on projects that are not subject to the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (Construction Act 1996)) and Option W2 (for use on UK projects where the parties are parties to a construction contract and are subject to the Construction Act 1996). This note identifies the key features of both procedures and highlights the main differences.
The NEC4 suite of contracts was published on 22 June 2017, replacing the NEC3 suite of contracts. This note is no longer maintained.
