In Golden Ocean Group Ltd v Salgaocar Mining Industries PVT Ltd and another [2011] EWHC 56 (Comm) (21 January 2011), the High Court considered whether it was arguable that an e-mail chain could constitute a guarantee for the purposes of the Statute of Frauds 1677.
