Pay less notice for construction contract

A pay less notice for a construction contract entered into on or after 1 October 2011. The notice is drafted to comply with the requirements of the Scheme for Construction Contracts (England and Wales) Regulations 1998 (SI 1998/649) and section 111 of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (Construction Act 1996), as amended by Part 8 of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 (LDEDC Act 2009).
The notice may be used with a construction contract that does not specify the form of notice to be used, including an oral contract, and may be adapted for use with a form of construction contract that sets out its own payment terms.
