In United Marine Aggregates Ltd v GM Welding and Engineering Ltd and another [2013] EWCA Civ 516, the Court of Appeal upheld Edwards-Stuart J's Technology and Construction Court (TCC) ruling that the defendant was not liable for a fire caused by hot work it carried out at the claimant's aggregate processing plant.
